FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about landlines, old phones, internet setups, and how Familyline fits into a real home.

Answers

Start with the simple questions.

Do I need a landline?

No. Familyline can work with an internet connection or a smartphone with data. If a home wants a landline-style setup only, that can be configured too.

Can I use my old landline phone?

Yes. We can provide an adapter so older home phones can keep working, including classic speakerphone-style setups.

Can more than one family member get alerts?

Yes. Scam Protection and family-awareness alerts can be sent to one or more approved family members by email, text, or both.

Is this only for seniors at home?

No. Familyline can be set up for home, cottage, travel, assisted living, and simpler mobile-first households too.

Old phones are part of the point.

The goal is not to force every home onto a brand-new device. Familyline can work with older handsets, adapters, and simpler home setups when that makes the experience gentler.
